IT Support and Administration - WCER

 

Position Summary

Student hourly employees needed to assist with helpdesk support and mild IT administration.  Minimum of 15 hours, up to 20 hrs/week during school year.  Summer and semester break hours of up to 35/week.  Flexible schedule during business hours of 8:00-5 pm (Monday - Friday).  Salary approximately $12 per hour.  Must be enrolled as a student for duration of employment - summer break from class is acceptable.

 

Responsibilities 

Resolving first level technical support calls, configuring email clients, data backups, o/s repairs and reinstalls.  Installing software security updates, first level hardware troubleshooting.  The ideal candidate has experience on both PC and Mac O/S platforms, Office productivity software, web based collaboration software and Adobe products.

 

Skills

Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and capacity to anticipate customer needs.  Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
